Hello, World!

I am Radhika Ghosh, a Nursery Practitioner at a Family Wellbeing Centre in London. Apart from being a teacher, I am an occasional writer, penning down my thoughts in the forms of book reviews, poems and personal essays.

Writing is a form of therapy as it is the best mode of self-expression for me. As a teacher, I believe in the power of storytelling, and my writing reflects that passion for sharing experiences and lessons. When I am neither working nor writing, you can find me at the best bookstores in London, navigating the bookshelves and filling my bags with the bestsellers.

Picture books are my favourites since I love how beautifully they convey mature themes in a child-friendly manner. I mostly like to write book reviews of my recent reads but I am also fond of exploring poetic prompts and personal essays once in a while.

Besides collecting and reading books, my hobbies include listening to vintage Bollywood music and Bengali detective audio stories. Being a dessert lover, I like to explore the London bakeries and soak in their unique vibes.

Through my writing, I wish to talk about the books that touch me and change my perspectives about life. My poems reflect my own experiences and realisations and the personal essays echo my deepest longings, fears and desires.
